Dr. Nick Skarich is a Veterinarian and owner of Northside Animal Hospital. He is a graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Skarich’s areas of expertise include surgery, internal medicine (diseases), preventative medicine (helping pets stay healthy), and dermatology. In addition to thoroughly loving dogs and cats, Dr. Skarich has special experience and training working with exotic pets (snakes, turtles and lizards) and pocket pets (rabbits, rats, hamsters and guinea pigs).

Dr. Skarich is dedicated to keeping pets healthy through preventative medicine. Wellness care helps animals stay healthy and it catches concerns before they become more problematic.

Dr. Skarich values expertise in surgery. In addition to his professional training, he has particular experience in soft tissue surgery and performs a variety of surgeries to help pets. In addition to spaying and neutering pets, he performs bladder surgeries, tumor removals, and many other procedures. His modern surgical techniques have a long history of positive results and healthy post-operative healing.

Dr. Cindy Kruske-Jordan is a Veterinarian at Northside Animal Hospital. Dr. Kruske is a graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She is an experienced Veterinarian and has worked for years in Michigan and is enjoying getting to know Owosso. 

In addition to expertise with wellness care and internal medicine for dogs and cats, Dr. Kruske provides acupuncture and cold laser therapy. Acupuncture and laser therapy can be helpful for both acute onset conditions and chronic health concerns. 

Dr. Kruske and her family have three dogs (Leah, Waldo and Dryfus) and have also loved sharing their home with cats over the years. Dr. Kruske enjoys working together with our team to provide quality veterinary medicine and compassionate care.
